FAQ
The majority of our orders ship using
the United States Postal Service(USPS).
Domestic orders ship no later than the
next business day while International
orders ship within 3 business days.
We can also ship orders on your UPS,
FedEx, or DHL accounts. For this option
please contact Nicole at sales@chapmanmfg.com.
** For International orders: additional customs or duty taxes may be applied.
These charges are beyond Chapman's control.**
Tools can be returned or exchanged
in new condition within 45 days of
receipt of shipment. Refunds are
issued once the tools arrive and are inspected. Shipping and handling
charges are non refundable.
Please contact Nicole at
sales@chapmanmfg.com for a return authorization number.
Chapman prides itself on the quality
of our products. Our tools are
guaranteed to be as represented and
free of defects as our warranty
provides protection against defective materials/faulty workmanship. In order
to maintain reasonable prices for our
open stock parts, our warranty
is limited to the first three years after
purchase. Furthermore our warranty
does not cover products that have been
improperly used, abused or altered.

**International replacements are
not always available.**
We do offer occasional promo codes
typically around holidays throughout
the year. The best way to receive
information about our upcoming
promo codes is to sign up for our
newsletter, which you can sign up
on the bottom of any page of our
website.
For our resale customers, we offer
discount levels depending on order
quantity. If you are a current or
potential Chapman product
distributor, please contact Nicole at
sales@chapmanmfg.com for more information.
The following locations are subject
to sales tax: Connecticut. If your
order is not being sent within the
borders of the state of Connecticut,
sales tax will not be applied.

The #1000 contains all of parts in the
#5575 PLUS:
Metric ball allens: 3mm, 4mm, 5mm,
6mm, 8mm
SAE ball allens: 1/8”, 9/64”, 5/32”,
3/16”, 7/32”, ¼”, 5/16”
The #5589 contains all of the parts
in the #8900 PLUS:
Star: S6, S8, S10, S15, S20, S25, S30
Pocket Pack Pouch
Ball Allen: ⅛” / 3.0mm
Chapman star bits fit Torx screws just
as well as Torx bits, but are an overall
improved design!
Sometimes. Chapman tools are all
¼” drive, however, our screwdriver
handle, ratchet and extension are
non-magnetic and designed to be
used with our bits with ear stops.
This brown sheet of paper found in
our larger sets (#1000, #5575, etc)
is known as VCI paper. VCI stands
for Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor. This
paper has molecules that work hard
to protect metals from corrosion
by creating a super thin, invisible
layer on the surface of the metal. This
layer acts like a shield, stopping the
corrosion process that can be caused
by oxygen, water, and other
contaminants.
Unfortunately we do not take orders
for small quantities (5k min qty) tools
with custom specifications. This is
because our machinery and
equipment are designed and
programmed specifically to
produce the tools that we make and
it requires a large amount of resources
and time to manufacture a new tool.
That being said, we do take orders for
custom tool sets made up of the tools
we already produce, as well as custom labeling. For more information please
