BRISTOL & HEX KEY SETS- We stock several standard Bristol spline key kits and one hex key kit. Our Bristol Spline keys are manufactured from high quality 8650 tool steel. Then they're heat treated to precise specs, and finished with a black-oxide rust inhibitor. Bristol wrench Bristol L-keys are available and short arm and long arm lengths.

BRISTOL SPLINE DRIVE- Pioneered by Bristol Wrench, the multiple spline drive system is the superior method to transmit torque from Bristol driver to Bristol screw. Nearly 100% of wrenching force is applied at right angles to the load bearing spline surfaces of the socket. This reduces cam-out, socket reaming and rounding of tools. Other drive systems dissipate a significant amount of force into radial thrust, tending to expand the socket rather than tighten the screw. Bristol flute tools fit Bristol spline screws only. Depending on the size of the Bristol tool and screw, they have either 4 splines or 6 splines. Bristol tools are also available in Chapman Bristol Spline Screwdriver bits and the #7341 Chapman MFG Bristol Spline screwdriver bit kit.
